During August 18-20, members of Boston church attended Northeast Summer Retreat in Dover, New York and received abundant grace. Themed “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”(Romans 5:8), the retreat messages focused on the book of Romans 5-8. All attendants meditated the meaning of justification in Jesus and the path of sanctification and the dream of the Kingdom of God.
One of attendant shared, “The book of Romans gives me a great strength to walk this path of faith with a clear understanding my identity in Jesus. I wish to sharpen my spiritual weapons continuously even after the retreat so I can win the race of faith following Jesus.”
